Ernest Borel Jules Borel Watch – Functional and Romantic

Ernest Borel, a watch brand with over 150 years’ history, is proud to launch its new creation, the Jules Borel Watch. The new model, with its unmatchable functionality and romantic watch style, has enough reason for Ernest to be proud.

The new Ernest Borel Jules Borel Watch boasts a smooth and polished round case, which is made of stainless steel or 18K pink gold with a matching winding crown sitting at the three o’clock of the 44mm case. This is a simple but elegant design.

The dial, being securely covered by a glare-proofed sapphire crystal face, has enough evidences to prove the new Ernest Borel Jules Borel Watch a functional and romantic timepiece. It features a white or guilloched anthracite background with three functional hands rimmed in eye-catching blue to ensure clear visual effect. The hours, minutes, seconds, power reserve, day and date functions are delicately showcased among the dial. The day function is indicated by a sub-dial at nine o’clock while the retrograde date is at counter three o’clock. Above the six o’clock is the power reserve indicator indicated by a black hand. This display of the functions is organized and clear. Together with the nicely displayed indexes and the minute track indexes in the bezel ring, the watch is not only functional, but also gives a romantic feel.

Powering the watch is an automatic rhodium-plated ETA 2892-A2 movement which incorporates a Soprod 9094 module to animate its practical functions. The great movement could be seen through the sapphire crystal back which also serves to protect the movement from strong shock.

Rounding off the elegant look of the Ernest Borel Jules Borel Watch is a stainless steel bracelet joined with a safety buckle. If you really want to own one piece of it, you need to catch your time as it is a limited edition. Only 688 pieces are launched.
